Other hair care products should not interfere with the effectiveness of Licefreee Everyday Shampoo when used as directed on the label.
The reason most companies say to do a second treatment in 7-10 days is because nits will hatch within that time frame and then the lice infestation starts again. However, if you use the Licefreee Everyday Shampoo for two weeks it will kill any lice that hatch; that is if any of them were not hit with Licefreee Spray as the spray does kill the nits as well.

You should be able to wash with Licefreee Everyday Shampoo as a regular shampoo daily. Washing with it twice is to treat an infestation as that will kill any lice in the hair, but if you are using it as a preventative measure or as a follow-up to treatment, once a day may work fine. However, using it this way may not take care of any new lice that might find their way onto the head which is why we recommend using it according to the directions and wash, rinse, repeat.
