Active ingredient:

Natrum muriaticum 1X HPUS 10% – Purpose: pediculosis remedy

Inactive ingredients:

benzyl alcohol, cocamidopropyl betaine, edetate disodium, fragrances, polyquaternium 10, purified water, sodium lauryl sulfate, tea tree oil

Uses:

Use daily to help avoid head lice reinfestation.

Warnings:

For external use only.
Ask a doctor before use if you have infestation of eyebrows or eyelashes, or if you are pregnant.
When using this product:
- do not use in or near the eyes, close eyes while product is being applied.
- do not permit contact with mucous membranes, such as inside the nose as irritation or stinging may occur.
Stop use and ask a doctor if skin irritation or infection is present or develops.
Keep out of reach of children.
If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Directions: Adults and children 6 months and older:

For the best results on a head lice infestation, use Licefreee! Gel or Spray treatment the day before using this shampoo.
Apply a generous amount of shampoo to wet hair, work into a lather while massaging into scalp; leave on for 2 minutes; rinse.
Repeat, this time leaving on the hair for 3 minutes.
Use daily for at least 7-10 days to treat any lice that may have hatched.

Children under 6 months:

Do not use, consult a doctor.

Can I use Licefreee Everyday Shampoo on color-treated hair?

Yes, you can use a detangler while using Licefreee Everyday Shampoo.

Yes, you may use any conditioner or detangler while using Licefreee Everyday Shampoo.

Could Licefreee Shampoo cause itching?

Head lice treatments may be irritating to the scalp causing it to itch. If you do not see live lice in the hair, it is not necessary to apply any more treatments. Use a soothing shampoo and cream rinse or conditioner to help with irritation.

Do hair products affect Licefreee Everyday Shampoo?

Other hair care products should not interfere with the effectiveness of Licefreee Everyday Shampoo when used as directed on the label.

Do I need a second lice treatment if using Licefreee Everyday Shampoo?

The reason most companies say to do a second treatment in 7-10 days is because nits will hatch within that time frame and then the lice infestation starts again. However, if you use the Licefreee Everyday Shampoo for two weeks it will kill any lice that hatch; that is if any of them were not hit with Licefreee Spray as the spray does kill the nits as well.

Do I use the shampoo for 10-12 days after using the gel?

It seems you have purchased Licefreee! Gel and Licefreee! Everyday Shampoo in our Licefreee! Kit. Yes, you can continue to wash the hair with Licefreee Everyday Shampoo for the next 10-12 days, or until the shampoo is gone if you would like to use it longer.

Is it necessary to apply the shampoo twice as directed?

You should be able to wash with Licefreee Everyday Shampoo as a regular shampoo daily. Washing with it twice is to treat an infestation as that will kill any lice in the hair, but if you are using it as a preventative measure or as a follow-up to treatment, once a day may work fine. However, using it this way may not take care of any new lice that might find their way onto the head which is why we recommend using it according to the directions and wash, rinse, repeat.

What scent is the shampoo?

Licefreee shampoo is a great product. Our family used the Licefreee Spray first (amazing product), which killed everything and have been using this shampoo three times a week for precautionary measures. This product is great for moms who might pick up the nasty critters from their kids and of course can’t check or comb out their own hair. My kids had a lice infestation for 2 months… just went we thought it was gone, it would come back — usually only one or two lice or a recently hatched egg — and I was using a nit comb on their hair daily! I finally got fed up and bought a bottle of the shampoo and made them use it every day. It’s been almost two weeks, and I haven’t found a single thing in their hair since the second day of use.
